First Friday Summer Concert Series

The GLDP kicks off summer in Littleton with a Friday night, 6-9pm Memorial Day weekend concert each year.  This also kicks off our First Friday Summer Concert Series. These concerts are an annual event held on the first Friday of June, July and August from 6-9pm.  These are all family friendly, free community concerts take place on stage in the downtown Littleton parking lot.  We also have 3-4 food vendors that are a part of this concert event series. The bands that play are all from the local areas, and the event has proven to be a successful and fun year after year.

Clean Up Littleton Days

With the help of many volunteers, the GLDP holds a spring and fall clean-up day in downtown Littleton each year. What a difference a day makes!

Renovation of Municipal Parking Lot

One of the most visible projects by the Greater Littleton Development Partnership is the renovation of the Town’s Municipal parking lot and construction of a stage.  With a lot of volunteer effort and funding from the NC General Assembly (thank you Representative Michael Wray), we have transformed this parking lot into a community gathering place for live music events and other community gatherings.

Person's Ordinary

A replica of Person’s Ordinary, the oldest historical landmark of Halifax County (built in 1739), was moved to a permanent location at adjacent from the Littleton Pop Up Park thanks to the volunteer efforts of GLDP. The new location provides a great home for the replica to be enjoyed by all.
